metal_pen.jpgThis is a pretty interesting Item. This pen uses no ink and is made completely of stainless steel. How it works, the way it is described on the site that sells it, is that the "nib" which is the metal tip leaves particles of metal on the paper in which you are writing on, the same way that the lead on your pencil leaves particles of lead on the paper when you write with a normal pencil. the technology was taken from how people use to write in past history before pens and pencils were created, just updated with todays technology and materials.

They do however not recommend this pen to be used to write large amounts of text, such as writing a novel or something similar (which most would use a PC for that purpose these days anyway) but they claim that the metal tip, or nib, will last a lot longer than your average pencil, 25 years or more.

The cost of this metal pen is $29.53 which is expensive compared to a number 2 pencil, but the stylish look and the fact that it will probably last a lifetime makes this a pretty good buy. Unfortunately they are currently sold out but expect to have more in stock by the middle of January
