RIght on the heels of me selling my iPhone comes an announcement from Apple that the iPhone will be upgraded to its 3.0 version.  This upgrade is just a software upgrade and will be freely available to iPhone owners. but the significant thing about this upgrade is the addition of a few widely wanted features.
