Dell-22-inch-Crystal-monitorAs you know this week has been the week of the yearly held consumer electronic show, or CES in Las Vegas. There has been a lot of products shown and announcements made when it comes to electronics, gadgets and all types of technology products. Dell has been showing off their new Crystal monitor this week and I am truly impressed. As you can see by the picture, the monitor has a very sexy design with most of it being clear, or "see through".

A lot of the time when you see cool looking products, there is a downfall. Many times its in performance, features or implementation. This monitor’s beauty goes beyond design, there are some pretty good features packed in to make you just as happy using it as you would be looking at it. The monitor is 22 inches with 1680×1050 native resolution.

  • 2000:1 contrast ratio
  • 2ms response time
  • True color technology
  • 160 degrees viewing angle (horizontal and vertical)

Sounds decent huh? The Dell 22" Crystal display also has built in speakers and webcam which makes this a real feature packed monitor. There is one downfall, Price. The Dell 22 inch Crystal monitor retails at Dell’s website for $1199, which is a little more than I would pay for a monitor, but I wouldn’t say it isn’t worth the price, just something I would wait on getting till the price is a little lower.
