psp.jpgI owned a PSP for a few months when it was first released, then I put it on eBay and sold it. I sold it for 2 reasons:
1. There just wasn’t many games out to play and it looked like it was going to be a while before anything worth playing would be released.
2. I called it the "Carpal Tunnel machine" due to the fact that playing the PSP made my hands hurt something awful. (the PSP and the Playstation series of game controllers both have those awkward analog sticks that forces you to hold both thumbs in a downward position…don’t know why people think the ps2-ps3 controller is so great).

GameIndustry.biz has news of a price drop for the PSP. The price for the core PSP was $199.99, the price has been dropped to $169.99. so if you have been waiting on a price drop… here it is…and about time. it makes no sense that it took this long, especially since the DS has been wiping the floor with the PSP in that market. Sony needs to get over their arrogance when it comes to gaming. Stop releasing these expensive items thinking people will buy anyway cause its "Sony"…sadly enough some people will.

The pricecut is for the core system in the US only
