gps3000.jpgSpeaking of things that will be shown at CES, heres something that will most likely be somewhere on the show floor. Navigation units have been getting popular lately, and it seems like everyone is starting to make their own device to compete with the likes of Garmin and Tom Tom. This one is called simply GPS3000. I like the look of this device, its black and simple looking, like it would pretty much fit in with any car’s dashboard. but other than that it is basically a general GPS unit. It has a SD/MMC card slot like a lot of others. one thing that is pretty cool about this one is that it plays wma, asf, and avi video formats, along with other audio and image formats, so this could potentially be used as a in car video player also, if you don’t happen to already have video monitors on every headrest and visor in your car. No word on price or availability but I suspect that information will be available sometime during CES.
