live marketplace.jpgI blogged about this a few days ago…as a rumor. but Microsoft has released info on its plans to make available, television shows and movies for download on the Xbox live service.

The new content will start on November 22, and it looks like Microsoft has deals to show content from CBS, MTV networks, Warner bros, Paramount, and Turner. Bringing such shows as South park, Ultimate Fighting championship, CSI, and movies such as Batman forever and Nacho libre.

The TV shows will be permanant downloads, meaning you’ll own it once you pay for it. The movies, as of right now, will be considered rentals, which means it will be available to you for 24 hours once you download it. And like everything else on Xbox live, the content is tied to your gamertag, and once purchased, you can redownload at any time, in case you delete the file for some reason.

Like I said before, they need to release a bigger harddrive, cause 20 gigs is gonna start to get a little too small (if it hasnt already for most of you)
