Last minute Christmas gifts for the slacker in you
You got to be quick, theres a little over a week left before Christmas and time is running out. Earlier I wrote an article talking about creative Christmas gifts, so I was just thinking about things that would be nice as stocking stuffer’s, or last minute gifts that aren’t expensive at all. Now these gifts aren’t anything that will make you the love of someones life, nor will they win over your Girlfriend’s (or boyfriend’s) kids from a previous marriage (or relationship). And if you are a parent and haven’t seen/talked to your kids in a long while, these aren’t going to make up for it. They are simply nice, thoughtful, fun stocking stuffer type items for those on a budget or if your just not looking to spend much money.
Rechargeable Battery Charger
One gift that is going to be pretty popular because just about every store had these on sale the day after thanksgiving are digital cameras. And what do one need for a digital camera? Batteries, unless the camera you get has one of those fancy lith-ion batteries. But if your anything like me, you probably hate keeping up with buying batteries and thinking about them going dead in the middle of a photo shoot. A somewhat answer to that problem would be to rechargeable batteries and charger. These items usually cost lest than $25 bucks and it saves you from having to buy batteries every week. One that has gotten really good buyer reviews over at amazon.com was the Sony BCG-34HE4 Super Quick Worldwide Battery charger. It cost only $24.99 and comes with the charger and 4 AA Ni-MH batteries. It has a non rechargeable battery shut off for those time you mistakingly insert non rechargeable batteries. It also can charge AA and AAA Batteries and works with world wide voltages.

Memory card reader
While your at Amazon getting the battery charger, you might as well pick up this 7-1 usb memory card reader for $.99. Same deal as before. Everyone getting those digital cameras would find having a USB card reader very handy. that way they don’t have to worry about connecting the camera to their PC’s to transfer the pictures they have taken.

Mini Laser Tag
Heres something a little different. Tinytag.com has a mini laser tag toy that would be something good to get the child in your life, whether it’s a sibling, niece, nephew, child, or a coworker. I don’t know about you, but this seems like it would be loads of fun to bring one of these to work and engage in a little friendly office laser tag battle. The Tinytag mini laser tag "toy" comes with 2 units (each run on 2 AA batteries) and has a range of about 50 Feet. Buy 2 or more and get everyone at work in on the chaos. Like I said in the opening of this article, you wont win any "Uncle o the year" awards with this gift, but it is a little fun stocking stuffer that would bring hours of fun to anyone that loves to run around. And it only cost $13.99

Glowing Shot Glasses
I talked briefly about these in episode 3 of the Jonzee.com Podcast. This is a gift that the average drinker would think is pretty cool. Imagine this, you have some friends over for some shots of your favorite alcoholic beverage, and you bring out these little glowing gems, for the rest of the night you will have drunken conversations in the dark about how pretty they are. How these work is when you sit them on a table or any hard surface (floor maybe) they light up, after 6 seconds the light goes out to conserve batteries. They come in several different colors and you can get logo’s or other things printed on the glass (did I say they are really frosted glass shot glasses?) and they cost $9.99 each or $31.99 a 4 pack.

Glowing Slippers
After the recipient of the last gift has had a night of liquor and has passed out in the bathroom floor, these flashlight bedroom slippers would come in very handy. In all seriousness, these slippers do seem like a very useful item. especially for anyone that gets up throughout the night. The website shows pictures of them in tan, blue and black but it looks like they only have black right now…..and they only have small so I guess that pretty much limits this gift to women and children. But they only cost $19.99.

Atari keychains
I sometimes check out this website called Thinkgeek to see if there are any new little geeky things worth buying. One thing I ran across that I thought would be a good stocking stuffer are these Atari keychains. The cool thing about these key chains are that they actually connect to your TV and you can play old school Atari games. Joystick 1 plays Asteroids and Millipede, Joystick 2 plays Centipede and Yar’s revenge, and the paddle plays Pong, Breakout and Warlords. So you can give that old school gaming fix to whoever you give this little stocking stuffer. They are powered by 3 AAA batteries and cost $9.99 - $14.99 (depending on which one you get)

If nothing else on this list interest you this next item has a little something for everyone. So when else fails, you can always resort to one of these as a gift. When you go to the website you just enter your zip and buy the book that has coupons for the area you live in. and the best thing is that it only cost about $27 bucks.
