First of all, Ive been a big fan of the Diggnation podcast, every since it started. These guys disagree on things sometimes but this is the most time Ive ever seen them go at it (in a friendly way, nothing serious) about something. Was pretty funny.

The 2 phones they were talking about are the Apple iPhone and the phone from LG (LG KE850) take a look at the pictures (below) and tell me if you think they look alike.

Me personally, I do think they look pretty similar, thats not to say I think one copied the other, but I do think they are similar. And I do agree with one statement that Alex Albrecht said. and that is people are going crazy over the iPhone because its apple, and even though the LG phone looks just as cool and VERY similar, its not getting the same type of response.

Even though a phone may have similar stylings than another, what sets them apart and what will make one phone better than the other is what features and functionality each has to offer the consumer. We all have read the post and breakdowns of what the iPhone will be capable of. But the LG phone, even though is was announced before the iPhone and has already won Product Design Award for 2007 by International Forum Design, there isnt much known about that particular phone.
