Macbook-AirI was over at Apple’s website earlier today checking out the new Macbook Air. Its a cool looking notebook, I like the thinness. I was thinking, I would really like a notebook that thin and light. After looking at it for a while, I started thinking about what is really important to me as far as notebook PC’s are concerned. Then I think about what I like to do on my notebook.

  • Blog
  • Play PC games
  • Surf the internet
  • Video and audio encoding/converting

The Macbook Air is nice, but it will only work for 2 out of the 4 things I listed…Well I should say it will only work well for 2 out of the 4 things listed. In all reality, getting the most bang for my buck is what is the most important to me. Playing games are pretty important also. WIth the Macbook Air, or any Mac notebook, you are somewhat limited as far as what you can get inside.

Another thing I was thinking, I have dabbled with the Mac OS but Ive never had any real time with it. I really dont want to buy a Mac, but I would love to beable to run the Mac OS on my PC. Right now, as you know, you can buy a Mac and either use bootcamp or parallells to run Windows on that Mac.
