iPhone-Retail-BoxI know, I know, all over the web people have completely exhausted the iPhone hype. I really liked the phone but I had my questions and concerns about the device. One of which was typing text msgs and emails on a touch screen. Another was the price (which has been helped a little already with the price drop).

Last week my 2 1/2 year old Treo 650 finally died. Actually the device still works, except for the phone portion. It will no longer connect to incoming or outgoing calls. The need of a new phone was quickly catapulted to a top priority, especially since I do not use any landline telephones (at home) and my cell phone is my only phone. I cant go too long without it. Thanks to Feedyourplayer.com I am now the owner of a shiny new Apple iPhone (check Jonespc soon for more info). Ive only had it for 2 days so Im going to give it a little more time before I give my impressions. But I can tell you that I am loving the phone so far. Im not going to do a normal "Yay or Nay" review being that there are so many iPhone reviews, but I will write a little on what I like and dislike about the phone later on. (subscribe to my RSS feed so you don’t miss it). This is my first Apple product, Ive bought iPods for gifts before, but Ive never bought anything from Apple for me. I have to say, I have been very excited about the iPhone every since I left the ATT store with it in my hands. Maybe since the reality of my actually owning it and not just reading about it has something to do with that.

Im not going to hack it or anything…not yet anyway.
