Eye-Fi funtionality to be built into the new Nikon D90
Nikon will soon release the successor to the D80 with a feature that sounds pretty interesting. The New Nikon D90 will have native support for Eye-Fi SD cards. If you remember, the Eye-Fi card is a SD card for use with digital cameras that has built in Wi-Fi connectivity. Allowing you to have your pictures automatically uploaded to your PC through your home network, or other online photo services using any Wi-Fi hotspot.
The functionality included in the Nikon D90 will include more support over your Eye-Fi card from the camera itself. Through the new Eye-Fi menu in the camera, you’ll be able to turn on and off your Wi-Fi functionality of your Eye-Fi card. The camera will also adjust its power options according to your Eye-Fi use. The Nikon D90 will be the second camera in this Eye-Fi / Nikon collaboration to include these features (the D60 being the first camera).
