Cingular to Get Treo 680

Cingular hasnt seen any parts of the Treo line of smartphones since the Treo 650, but that is about to change. According to Engadget, the new Treo 680will soon be comming to Cingular. The Treo 680 looks like it has a streamlined form factor with its new more rounded corners, and the absence of the stub-like antenna. The 680 will also sport a slightly upgraded version of the Palm OS, version 5.4.9, with a new tabbed navagation setup to make getting around a little easier.

Not sure what Cingular’s price will be but the phone retails at about $799 but unlocked version’s can be found here and other places for about $599
