This device looks like its about the size of a normal PDA and it flip open to reveal a set of solar panels that you can sit on your dashboard or on  window ledge. It ha a built in battery that then collects energy from the sun and store it for later use or to charge your device on the go. The built in battery takes about 7-9 hours to fully charge using the sun (or you can charge it with the included car charger) but you can start charging your device when the battery gets about 20%.

If you have a fully charged on board battery, it takes about 5-6 hours to charge a typical cell phone, but you can carry this device with you and charge your phone at any time.
