I haven’t brought you a HDTV deal in a while, but this is one that caught my eye. Over at Newegg, they have a nice little deal on a LCD TV, if you can deal with the mail in rebates (which I hate).  The television is an Astar 37" LCD HDTV with built in ATSC Tuner.

let me break down the deal…

The retail price (according to Newegg) is $999. Its on sale for $749.99, then there is an additional $200 dollar mail in rebate. When its all said and done, the TV will cost you $549.99. Which is pretty good for a 37" LCD television. Its not a 1080P television, nor does it have HDMI which seems to be pretty popular right now, but it is a nice budget brand television that would be good for someone testing the HD waters, or looking for a television for the bedroom or another secondary room. Some of the specs are as follows.
